Echoes Charity is a registered Mental Health Charity who will be providing free workshops and groups. These will be written and facilitated by qualified and registered Counsellors and Psychotherapists, to those in the general community, throughout England and Wales. The charity is in need of trustees to join them and to help kickstart the programme which will include a Workshop for Parents and Carers of those with Autism and a Group for those Bereaved since the Covid Pandemic and who have been unable to grieve in the normal way or feel stuck.
Ideally with a successful track record in business or within the charitable sector, candidates should have a clean financial record. Knowledge of how charities work is useful but not essential. We are looking to build the board up further and share the load of the charity. Any skills you can offer would be gratefully received, this can include, fundraising, accountancy, research, administration, but this is not a barrier if you are willing to give your time and experience. This is an opportunity for someone looking for professional development and wishing to help shape the future of a charity and make a real difference to peoples’ lives.
The role of Trustee will be:
Ideally we would like all trustees to volunteer for a few days each year to help with the running of the charity, using their skills and strengths to work alongside the management team.
