Fundraising Post (Voluntary)

Echoes Charity is a registered Mental Health Charity who will be providing free workshops and groups. These will be written and facilitated by qualified and registered Counsellors and Psychotherapists, to those in the general community, throughout England and Wales. The charity is in need of a trained fundraiser to help them to kickstart the programme which will include a Workshop for Parents and Carers of those with Autism and a Group for those Bereaved since the Covid Pandemic and who have been unable to grieve in the normal way or feel stuck.

Ideally with a successful track record in corporate fundraising and partnerships. Knowledge across the mix of fundraising would also be useful. This is an opportunity for someone looking for professional development and wishing to help shape the future of a charity and make a real difference to peoples’ lives.

The role of fundraiser will be:

  • To work with other volunteers and the whole team to develop a fundraising strategy.
  • To find and apply for funding (Possibly: To start and liaise with a fundraising group).
  • Ideally you will be expected to work on this for around 25-45 days/year or as much time as you can give. This can be as flexible as you need it to be .
  • Visit shops and businesses to secure sponsorship/match funding, raise money/get raffle prizes etc.

The role is unpaid but normal and reasonable out of pocket expenses would be paid if needed.
